ACT - Remote and Server address books and ACT


Ever wonder how to make Outlook mail attachments in ACT show up on the server attachments folder on your server database while you are in the office and on your remote laptop when you are outside the office? Well, it's easy. Just create links to both address books in Outlook. When Outlook is "talking" to the ACT system, it's talking to the currently opened address book. So, you can either set up multiple profiles and tell each profile which Address book to open or tell Outllook that you have two addresses books. One lives on the server and one lives on the remote laptop. Then, when you are in Outlook, and you click on the To button, just pick the address book where you want the attachments linked.
